they thought it was fungal, but the meds didn't work. from digging around online i found it looks similar to a type of eczema. next time he tries cutting it off i will grab a cam  add to the embarrassment factor.

Sounds like actinic keratosis. Does he have pain or itching such as fingers touching or pants rubing against it? If so let me know i might have info on this if you can describe any sensations or reactions he has.
