Looks pretty real. As long as it didn't destroy an organ or sever a major artery then the cow would be living fine. Will most likely die w/o treatment though. When I was in mortuary school, my instructor worked on a man who accidentally shot off his face while trying to commit suicide, the shot himself again after the shock of the first attempt. The pictures were fascinating.
