Re: No Tits
Been there, done all that shit. Didn't have reconstruction. Husband took wonderful care of me through the surgery and chemo, yes that is lymphedema- I have it too. Kudos for this couple posing for this brave photo. There are great men in the world like this gentleman. Glad my hubby is one of them too -Mrs. K

Re: No Tits
I'm single once again and really don't date very often. I'm not in a hurry like I might have been in my early 20s. Now I just let life roll and I see who I see, and if attraction happens, then that's where I date. So if I find a rare female that I'm attracted to, unless I met her at the beach, I'd have no idea that she was a double-mastectomy survivor. Same goes for a hysterectomy survivor... or any number of other conditions. But if the attraction was there and it persisted over the next several dates/months, I wouldn't care if she was sans breasts or uterus or anything else I couldn't detect myself. If we're cool with each other by that point, then we're probably going to be cool for most pre-existing conditions. I hope she'd feel the same when she finds out I have fibromyalgia. ;-) See, medical prejudice can cut both ways. |
