Re: My Breast Reduction
I'm not sure why you felt the need to leave that remark in your comment, but since you did I'm going to respond, even though this is an older thread- I'm a fully grown woman and I've long since realized that anyone who is turned off by every little 'flaw' they find on their partners body isn't type of person I want to associate with in the first place ( and they probably suck in bed, anyway, if they're that preoccupied with looks rather than performance. There is a reason being 'hot' is not a technique you'll find in the Kama Sutra ) but for young girls already insecure about their bodies this attitude does nothing but reinforce their belief that they are correct to feel ashamed of their bodies. Many 18 y.o's have breasts like that of the OP. and they are often ridiculed for it. Some kids are just mean, but most grow out of that behavior as they gain experience and discover that the fun part of sex is in how it feels, not how it looks. But the damage is already done. When you hear this shit frequently during all your formative years it becomes deeply engrained as not only a part of your self image, but how you perceive others to see you, as well. ( I'm sure AMW had legitimate medical reasons, but most girls just use them as an excuse to have cosmetic surgery) I'm a little aghast to find an adult leaving such a humiliating comment on a thread that's guaranteed to be viewed by so many girls who have already been so viciously mocked they think that taking a fucking scalpel to their breasts is the only way to be desirable. |

Re: My Breast Reduction
Very well said! (All of it, not just the part I quoted.) I have long said that sexy is an attitude. There are plenty of women out there that are proportioned the way society sees fit that are decidedly UNsexy, and plenty of women who don't fit society's mold who are sexy as hell. It has nothing to do with their cup size, or their pants' size, or where their curves are placed. It's all in the attitude. And people like this can cause SO much damage to a girl's self-image and attitude. Thank you for calling them out.

Re: My Breast Reduction
You do have a good surgeon. I've post-op'd a few of these and yours look like they will heal well so long as you follow your surgeon's instructions. I second the request for pictures as you heal. I only ever get to see the early stage of the process. Recommendation you may have received already - see a chiropractor once you've healed. Your body has been used to carrying a lot more weight and your posture will gradually change. It feels great at first but your body may over-correct. |

Re: My Breast Reduction
It's all in the quality of the underwear. I have the same 'problem' as your boyfriend and trying to find anything comfortable without just going up a size is hell. There are some specifically designed with the more endowed man in mind: /baskit/ is a good brand with a lot of choices in material Junk has a great boxer/brief with a interior support pocket and zipper fly CIN2 has the best active ware like jocks and stuff for playing sports Be prepared to spend almost $20 a pair but they're well worth it. Hope this helps him be a little more comfortable and less, obvious, when you do something that turns him on. |

Re: My Breast Reduction
I am impressed with the courage and self-confidence that the OP demonstrated by starting this thread and being so open with sharing her thoughts and photos. Especially at such a young age. "You go, girl!" BTW, I doubt that DS meant any malice. Ya gotta remember, on the net, it's all text. There's no facial expressions or vocal inflections to convey the exact intended meaning. It's easy to miscommunicate or be misunderstood. |
