Sort of looks like the little gripper things on the bottoms of little kid's pajama pants....BWAHAHAAAA!!!! And to whoever already mentioned it, yes, the maggots helped immeasurably by keeping the wound clean and ridding the area of necrotic tissue. Many wound care centers in the USA now use sterile "medical maggots" to clean up hard-to-heal decubitus ulcers (as well as other wounds). They put those little babies on, gauze and tape em' up, leave them on for 3-4 days, then open up their little present and remove the bouncing little baby boys and girls...... |
