Re: Lungs of a Non Smoker and a Smoker
I've smoked for 40 years. I have never had a cough, never suffered from congestion, and a recent scan showed healthy lungs and clear lung fields. Here's what doctors DON'T tell you; For every litre of fuel you burn whilst driving your car - 12 pounds of toxic fumes are released into the atmosphere. You are more likely to die of lung cancer from air pollutants than smoking. Interestingly enough I have never lived in a city or a built up area with high traffic. I'm not saying smoking is healthy - just you never see a health warning on a fuel pump.
