Hump Back

Apparently this is expanded tissue from skin grafting on a burns victim.

Re: Hump Back

damn! wonder if he dressed up as the haunchback of notre dame for halloween?

imagine that... a manmade haunchback!

how DO you find this shit, kelly? i never even heard of skin expansion before seeing this.

so i looked into it and it isn't a pretty thing.

(i wonder if the guy in the bottom right pic could stash his dope in the skin fold and get away with it. think a cop would actually reach in there?)

Re: Hump Back

"Skin Expansion" is when they place a soft bladder like container under the good skin of a patient. They slowly over weeks fill the bladder with more and more liquid. The skin stretches and grows over time, over the expanding bladder. This new skin that has grown over the expanded bladder, can then be excised from the patient (after the bladder is removed) and be used on the patient on the areas of the body that require skin grafting. For example on the burns patients the burnt skin can be removed and replaced / grafted on with the new healthy skin. Its a great medical technique
