I imagine it's similar to a barium swallow to test swallowing. They could possibly do a barium enema to see is there is any physiological cause of fecal incontinence

I'm guessing they introduced some kind of liquid (barium?) into the rectum and had the person crap it out. Barium shows the contours of the organs and makes it easier for docs to see if something is wrong. Still wouldn't wnat to do this and damn sure wouldn't want it posted online, lol
