Awesome Dad and Mother here. Thanks guys, for doing the right thing in the right time frame. Your kid could have been disfigured for life if it was not for the fact you love him and was interested in the best life possible for him. I applaud you.

Thanks everyone :). He is an amazingly strong little boy. None of it phased him as it happened. The fixators were his 'robot legs' and his wheelchair was his spaceship. He ended up with 6 surgeries and he just never complained.

And thanks deathstarr, there was no other option to us. It had to be fixed ASAP.

Nah, all the credit goes to the care he got. That's it. We finally got it paid off last month-husband has really good insurance so we only had to pay a small portion of the 75k, lol.

wow good post-sometimes kids are the strongest people and thats proof-just seeing pictures of those braces on his legs makes you realize the hardship he actually went through......best of luck to you and your son!!!!kick ass
