Re: Abby Hensel and Brittany Hensel
These pretty young ladies were a cover of People mag in the early 90's, and are all too real. They have overcome (which in realty is a being a two headed girl), their disability and it is true that each side is controlled by a different co-joined twin: they learned to deal as babies learning to walk. This is proof positive that if you dont disintergrate into victim mode, and have the strongest of wills, you can be seen for the beauty inside as well as outside, refusing to give up your self esteem. They are incredible, and I wish all people that have an external difference could live in a community like these two do. Bless their hearts...

Re: Abby Hensel and Brittany Hensel
I wonder if they have separate boyfriends and will have separate men they marry and just move to another bedroom every other night or they both marry the same guy. I'm just glad they have done so well and the are different people if you have seen any of their interviews so I kind of think they each have their own taste in young men. I just hope they stay as happy as they have.

Re: Abby Hensel and Brittany Hensel
What I'm curious about is if one of the twins drinks alcohol, would the other one be effected since they share one intestine? Also wondering (as someone else mentioned) if only one of them is in control of the bowels and the sexual organs. If they had a sexual relationship, and got pregnant, I wonder how it'd be established which twin was the maternal parent. These girls are incredible. |

Re: Abby Hensel and Brittany Hensel
Each controls half the body. They have long ago decided NOT to be separated: it would maim both and probably kill one at least. They jog and even drive a car (took the driving test twice). I would like to meet them, as I would like to ask them if they have the same dreams at the same time. Usually when a 2-headed child is born, it winds up in a jar. |
