Apparently, they do eat separate meals, but sometimes for practicality they will share food, alternating who takes bites.

If I am thinking of the same case - that was Chang and Eng, born in the early 1800's in Siam (now Thailand). The original Siamese twins. They didn't share any internal organs and if they had been born today could have been separated. From what I remember reading about them, they had separate houses and would spend a week at one, then the other. For the wives - sure it was awkward, but on the upside, half the housework!
