Pretty old post. First saw that one on Rotten. It's still good, even though it's like 5 years old.

the helo only has 3 wheels 2 on the mid frame and 1 on the tail,and since there are still wheel stops in front of the wheels,and one pic showed his vest and head gear,I would say the fellow was a ground guide for that helo and probably backed into the tail rotor of another helo behind,as with the head gear one he wouldn't hear anything behind him,the main rotor blades are way to high to be reached from the deck of the carrier.
