Trikes are fucking dangerous. I was in the Philippines last year and rode one into town from Tugas to Tanjay (10 minute ride). About half way into the ride, the front brakes locked up and the trike did a violent endo and flipped over. I was thrown out and the sidecar portion of the trike landed on top of me. Luckily, I came out of it alive and in one piece. I suffered a broken tibia, several deep lacerations on my leg, shoulder and head. I thank God that we were off the highway and that there were no fast moving vehicles behind us.
