As great as it would be, the background story seems fishy as hell. No way to tell if the dead guy is actually a robber or if he was actually mauled by that dog.

Heck, someone could've taken a picture of a dog that got hurt in a fight, and some dude who got shot, and made up a story connecting the two.

Aside from the complete lack of proper evidence, a white burglar in South Africa? Not impossible, but a statistical red flag right there.

Maybe a stupid question, but I really don't know much about Pitbulls, or the injuries they can inflict upon a person. But the questions is, did the dog actually bite his head open? Looks as if his skull is split.

I suppose a pit bull could. Their jaws are very big and wide, and obviously extremely strong. That said, a skull is very solid.
