I can't believe he lived and can walk-I thought for sure his spine was destroyed. Couldn't tell in the pics if his anus was damaged but if he needed a temporary colostomy until his buttocks healed and his rectum could be rebuilt or repaired it is so NOT a tube inserted INTO the stomach as some genius said several pages back. It is usually a piece of some part of the bowel which is pulled out through the abdominal wall and stitched down. That wound looked really clean,too. A little trimming and good nutrition and wound care, maybe something called a wound vac (look it up ) will heal areas that big surprisingly fast. That said-what a tasty,tender tid bit.... |

I don't think a shark bit him. Look at the wound - no serrations from teeth. You get good cut marks with sharks but unless the shark took a butchers knife - I don't think he did it |
