I read a couple of weeks ago, that an Australian scientist and marinebiologist thinks that many of the reports off "drowned" people are actually eaten by sharks. This means that sharks may kill over 1000 people a year, althought, it's very unsure at this point. And still, humans kills over 1 billion sharks a year, so who's the most dangerous anyway? |

It looks suspiciously like several of these are postmortem bites. People who die from shark bites usually die from blood loss, and usually are not eaten like this. If you die in the water, sharks and lots of other creatures will be happy to eat your corpse. Sharks don't usually eat meat off the bones like other predators; they chomp down, rip off a big chunk, and swallow it whole. Some of these look like they were in the water for a while. I love these pictures, especially the one with the disembodied vertebral column that's still wearing boots. |

woww..man...once i did swim at the ocean when i was back in FL at pitch black night...!!!i was with a hot and sexy girl and....you know the rest....but i never thought that i could be attacked by a great white or other fuckers...!!!i was lucky i guess.... |
