Similar thing happened today. Big flat screen TV sitting on top of a chest of drawers, toppled over and fell on a little girl's head. 30kg, 1& half metres, onto the soft head of a toddler.
That's why these things are supposed to be fixed to walls or fitted with an appropriate stand.
Apparently it's happening several times a week since the large flat screens appeared on the market.

Yea, we had a 52 inch flat screen fall on top of a 2 year old and kill him around here somewhere not too long ago.

Poor kid but where was the grandfather at? Was he sitting there watching him rock the tv back and fourth? Dumb ass grandparents. Not all of them just these ones.
