Re: My Fathers Suicide.
The OP simply said her father shot the house and everything in it that meant anything to anyone..looks like he trashed it outside and in.He probably cut himself on broken glass( hence the blood stains outside) She did not say that SWAT did anything other than gas the place.Small town, out in the middle of nowhere.Cops are not always so smart. She did not reveal how he knew the family was dropping the dime on him,not uncommon for the cops to just drop by to scope shit out.Who knows when the tape went up,who cares? As for the ETOH(abbreviation for alcohol) you don't just drink and keel over-your level goes up over time. It's entirely possible he was drunk as a skunk, ripping and tearing the place up prior to shooting himself in the head.Your toxic ETOH level won't be the same as mine....There are stages of grief and healing involved in this type of family scenario. Not uncommon for people to burden themselves on the internets.....

Count me among the skeptics. You make good points here and subsequently.

Re: My Fathers Suicide.
Hi Aly. I'm sorry you had to go through all of this, although it sounds like him being out of your family's life is for the best now. I'm guessing you or your mom took all the pictures? For a long time I was under the impression that the police/crime scene technicians would make a home like this spotless before the victims/public returned, but more and more I've seen things which point to that not always being the case. If your family had to clean up that mess after the fact, I'm again very sorry. . On a much lighter note, there's actually a computer game out now called "Viscera Cleanup Detail," where you go around cleaning up after all kinds of crazy scenes. It's a first-person game, and a bit tongue-in-cheek, but it's actually rated really well and liked by a lot of people. If anyone's actually played it, let me know! All the best to you and your family Aly - you seem like a cool person. |
