It's called rigor mortis. She likely lied down with her arms below the level of her chest. The fatal hurt could have been the one inflicted to her nose. After she died, respiration ceased, blood tended to get to the lower part of her body, as some liquid whatsoever. This is why you see those strange lines on her chest: they are the result of the compression of her body during this process, i mean after Myosin and Actin were no longer released: a good doctor would be able to say all about this death.
