My ex and one of our dogs stumbled across a wasps nest as they walked down a overgrown embankment. They ran for it and managed to get back in the house, but they had wasps still on their clothes/fur, and they were still stinging away! The poor dog went into shock and started foaming at the mouth as he jumped wildly around trying to snap at his own body. Then he started to vomit. Meanwhile, my ex was stripping off and stamping on stray wasps, howling with pain. By that point in the relationship, I just phoned the vets and got the dog sorted.  |
