I don't know why, but I can't get myself to hate these people, nor can I get myself to sit here and "degrade" them by using racial insults or anything like that-- all I see is some people who would rather be at home eatin some chicken soup, or playing gameboy advance, or hanging out with their cute girlfriend, or something, but never-- never can I get myself to hate them. R.I.P. Humanity.

Most likely a mortar shell. You can see shell casings laying on the ground so an IED is out of the question (you don't shoot at an IED) and the only time I have seen trauma like that is in major explosions
