There is a logical explanation though - at least, logical in my mind. I was trying to think of a title that would come up in a search yet knowing that people search for different things. So I came up with "human man" in case someone searched for "man eaten by shark" or "human and shark" or some other similar permutation. But that it gives everyone a laugh makes me smile

The term "pointer" as used by the person you replied to isn't referring to a type of shark. It is a reference to a rather strange practice seen in many death and accident photos where one of the people is pointing at the victim as if to make it clear. It's become cliche.
