Dumped Again!
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) -- A New Jersey man has been charged with killing a female acquaintance and dumping her body in Virginia. Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan said 40-year-old Franklin Camacho Jr. of Perth Amboy was arrested Thursday morning by New Jersey State Police near Exit 6 of the New Jersey Turnpike in Hamilton. Investigators believe Camacho attacked the woman on Tuesday and took her body to Prince William County, Va., where it was discovered in a shopping center trash bin.  · |

When New Jersey State Police stopped a vehicle Thursday morning driven by 40-year-old Franklin Camacho Jr. on the New Jersey Turnpike, they found key pieces of evidence in what authorities described as the savage slaying of his wife and disposal of her body in Virginia, a prosecutor said Friday. In the vehicle Camacho was driving was a bloody garbage can top, a bloody bra and a hammer investigators believe he used to beat his 45-year-old wife, Leonilda Cacera-Camacho to death in their second-floor Perth Amboy apartment, authorities said. That Camacho is alleged to have used a garbage can to dispose of his wife's body adds a chilling detail to the murder. He was questioned but never charged in the murder of his New Brunswick girlfriend in 1999. Her body was found stuffed in a storm sewer near her home and an eyewitness saw a man wheeling a garbage can in the area shortly before that grisly discovery.  · |

Odd, I was living in that area and working there in 1999 and don't remember reading about this. That doesn't surprise me though. Three separate incidents that I know of, a suicide right outside work a coupla days ago, before that a guy at work killed himself because he was about to be arrested for raping his teenage daughter, and another time, just before Christmas a work colleague found a guy in his truck who had blown his head off, when they were moving some items to their new house. They were driving by and happened to notice he was slumped in the front seat of his truck, covered in blood, so they went back to see what was wrong. All kinds of crap goes on in that area and we never hear it on the news. All we see is someone standing outside in a dusting of snow going on for hours about how bad the 'storm of the century' is.  |

That may be the work of local law enforcement or shitty media coverage. Either way, maybe they don't want everyone to know how bad it really is there.
