~ I bet there were too many Captains on board & not enough Sailors, or too many Sailors & not enough Captains.
~ In the most probable scenarios, most didn't how to swim to begin with, & most didn't know that if they put all their fat asses on one side of the boat it's gonna capsize.

People who are undocumented like and need to stay below the radar. Because of the obvious.
So they are hardly out at the social security office getting some welfare checks and "benefits".
They are also not registered to vote. Because that would mean putting themselves on the radar when they don't have a social, govt issued IDs, maybe not even bank accounts, etc etc etc.

Where is the proof to prove these fleeing people who would be classed as undocumented in the USA, get all the goodies?

Because they have connections with several families, perhaps a dozen, with three or four generation's dependence on U.S. welfare instilled upon their psyche as a given. You don't have any clue about what your commenting on, fool. Do not quote me unless you have done your homework you stupid pile of worthless shit(.)

The Dominican Republic is a stable country with a relatively decent standard of living. It is not a dictatorship and people are not dying of hunger or getting rounded up. People go back and forth between the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico constantly. It's as likely they were coming to visit family for Christmas as that they were emigrating. There's no need to take a yola to Puerto Rico if your goal is to move. The ferry runs 3 times a week and nobody checks if you have a US passport.

It is so sad this happened. However, the Dominican Republic is not a stable country. It is run by the elite who take advantage of the less fortunate. This is the way it was hundreds of years ago and will continue to be in the future. I lived there way too long to learn the citizens of the republic are the number one cause of their misfortune. The best thing for them is to leave their attitude and try to improve themselves. However, it is almost an impossible task for the average Dominicano. Sad but true. They are their worst enemy full of nationalist tendencies and racism.

Maybe if the US didn't have a huge drug appetite these Central and South American countries can actually develop into something than being run by cartel and violence. Certainly a fucking dipshitted ignorant viewpoint of foreigners without looking at your own contributions.
