The problem is that I never said that it doesn't occur in cases like this one. It doesn't take a genius to realize that being envenomated as badly as this lady did will likely cause a plethora of reactions and ultimately, death.

What I meant was that there are some people who can get this reaction after just one sting.

I'll chalk this up as a misunderstanding as a result of me not clarifying this point to begin with but thank you for sharing information I already knew about anyways.
