That is fucking bullshit. The russian govt did not kill all those kids, but, WAY TO TAKE THE FOCUS OFF THE REAL CRIMINALS, THE TERRORISTS. The terrorists killed all adult men and many teenaged boys (the ones who looked strong enough to try to fight) They did that right off. They set up bombs throughout the gymnasium, and that is the area mostly blown. They told the hostages they were there to die, refused to even give water to the children, forced them to drink their own urine, put water just out of their reach and told them they would be shot if they reached for the water. They intended to kill every last one of those children, and indeed did kill many before THEY themselves ignited their bombs killing so many people in an incendiary way.
