Baby Died From "Short-Fall Injuries" *Caution*

This baby had fallen down a section of six to seven carpeted steps, suffering bleeding on the surface of the brain and severe retinal hemorrhaging.

It would have looked just like he died from shaken-baby syndrome or abusive head trauma.

What i find is odd is him/her still being in that position. My first reaction being a parent would be to swoop the kid up to help, check for breathing and do cpr if not. I imagine most parents would do the exact same. You wouldn't simply stand back and do nothing and leave them like that

But, it's the parents responsibility to put up a little "gate" or what to call it infront of those areas so they can't fall down.
Just my opinion.

Poor little one

And for the parents... Have you heard of baby gates? If not they keep your child from falling down stairs and going up stairs when they are to little to go up and down the stairs without falling.

I really do feel bad for the little one but how do we know that he or she fell and someone didn't push or knock the child down?

I agree, being a mother my 1st reaction is to grab my baby and do whatever it takes to keep him/her alive would not leave my baby laying like that!!!! It kinda looks like the baby was thrown or pushed and that could be why he/she was left like that:questi onmark
