In Veracruz yesterday morning (25th July 2018), the body of tranny José Luis Contreras Ponce (aka Alaska Bout la Reina Gay 2018) was found.

Barbed wire was around his neck + signs of violence to his body.

Jose lived life as a woman and sadly died due to the hatred many in society have to our ladies of class and beauty.

Rest in Peace

How the hell would you know when those photos were taken? Do you think they start off with lipstick? Then some eyeliner the week after? A dress a month later? WTF are you on?

(My apologies for how long this post is, but I do hope some people give it a read.)

The subject of transgenders has always been rife with controversy as how we as society should view them. A main point has been brought up here. Are they mentally ill?

Gender Identity Disorder was considered a mental illness by the WHO until recently.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/n...729-story.html

https://www.refinery29.com/2018/06/2...-dysphoria-who

It's important to take note of this quote:
"In the ICD-11, gender incongruence has been moved from the "mental health" chapter to a newly created "sexual health" chapter. "We had better understanding that this wasn't actually a mental health condition. And that that was causing stigma," Lale Say, MD, coordinator at the Department of Reproductive Health and Research of the WHO, said of the change. "

The term mental illness is very stigmatic, however, we have to look at individual perception of the term. Not all people consider the term "mental illness" as something to be ashamed of, but rather something that is a basic descriptor. Descriptors like black, white, gay, lesbian, man, woman, child, adult, etc. Each of these words describes the person, and it's to the individual that gives a qualitative meaning. The most obvious one is "gay". Some people use it as a derogatory term, others just use it as a descriptor. Just like how some people have perceptual ideas of race or gender.

This is the most important part of such discussions because you have to look not only at what others are saying, but always how YOU perceive it. Purgificator made a mention that the individual had a mental illness. Did they mean to throw a stigma onto this person? It's obvious some people thought he did, but maybe he just meant it as a basic descriptor. Keep in mind that experts and professionals only until recently thought the same thing. They changed it themselves because of how OTHER people began to stigmatize transgender, and I would imagine these professionals meant it purely as a descriptor and not as an offensive term. It's now considered a "sexual health" problem, and not a mental one by the World Health Organization.

This is important to understand that it is also still considered a health condition by WHO. Why you may ask? Well this quote does seem to shed some light on that:

"Keeping gender dysphoria in the ICD-11, which still classifies it as a health condition, means that trans people who have gender dysphoria can access healthcare needed to feel more comfortable in their bodies. That can mean anything from taking hormones like estrogen and testosterone to having surgery to remove or augment breasts or reconstruct genitals."

It can't be considered normal human behavior because then they would not qualify for treatment, and even the most steadfast supporter of transgender people have to admit that in terms of what is average for human beings. Most humans don't have gender dysphoria, and this is why it's considered a deviation from what is considered normal for people.

I have heard many arguments from both sides. There are people out there who think they are Napoleon or some other great person from history. This is considered a mental illness, so it's not hard for some people to consider those who identify as another gender to be something of the same. Yet there will always be a stigma attached to people who deviate from the norm, no matter what classifications we give them. Wasn't so long ago that rock music was considered a deviation and thusly stigmatized and demonized. Anyone here play Dungeons and Dragons? The satanic panic of the 80's made this very harmless tabletop game, and anyone who played it into a social pariah. Dungeons and Dragons...Satan's Game. Your children like it or not are attracted in their weaker years to the occult. For those that understand, please pass the Cheetos, and the Mountain Dew.

It seems to me that we as humans are just, predisposed to not trusting people that are different from what we feel is normal. This isn't just in the cases of identity either. It's the same for religions, cultures, politics, and nearly everything that is part of the human experience. Just as those who see transgenders as not normal or average for people. The same is true for those who see transgenders as normal for the human experiences. There are always gonna be differences of this perception.

My main problem is from where and why are we being conditioned to HATE. It seems that people on both sides of any fence have a better than average chance of hating someone of a different opinion than they are. What is the source of it? Hate does not help communicate ideas, it only helps divide. Transgender supporters seem to have a lot of hate towards people they deem offensive to transgenders, even if they are in fact, not intending to be this way. Hate won't help convince anyone in any capacity, it will just make them put up their defenses. Is it possible we can talk about these issues in our society without resorting to hate? Strong opinions are good either way, because people have reasons for believing the things they do. It's so important to just understand why a person believes something first before the judgments. See the reason before giving into your initial reaction. When people let emotions control them, they can't think straight. This can only lead to misunderstanding and division. If you have read this far, thank you.
