If the kid's lower half was burnt well enough from that sudden massive surge of electricity (which is almost like an explosion) he can easily break in two. And also hitting a cable from a high drop on the way down would probably help in the bisection. What a horrible, almost surreal image of the kid with an almost peaceful look on his face yet his guts exposed.

Yes, shocking based on the fact it's a kid (a relatively rare sight), but ppl need to remember that death doesn't discriminate age-wise etc.
