Re: RACHEL E COOK

10 years ago at the young age of 17, Rachel cook was charged with conspiracy to commit and prin***l to commit 1st degree murder. Although Rachel admitts her role in everything there were issues that led up to her committing this crime that dont excuse it, but they do however explain it.

For those reasons, this young teen had harbored alot of anger towards her father, who is the victim in this case. Rachel was given a 30 year sentence. Given the issues of the case the sentence was way too harsh and this angry teen should have been given help, not 30 years. Good people sometimes do bad things and in the last 10 years that she has been in prison, this now 27 year old has accomplished a lot to better herself.

She has completed classes and received certificates or degrees in Anger management, Life skills, Crafts for conviction, Teachers aid that helps others how to read and write, she is a certified electrican by the F.D.O.C, horticulture and she is currently in the final stages of cosmetology school and is about to receive her degree and license. But above all her and her father who was the victim in this case, have a wonderful relationship now and he visits her frequently.

He also wants her home, as do we all. Rachel is filing a petition for clemency to have her sentenced commutted to probation and her father is behind her 100%. We are asking for support of any kind weather you sign our petition or simply join our page. Rachel can honestly do more for society out here than she can in there.

That angry 17 year old is gone now and in her place is a beautiful girl with a heart of gold that has changed her life completely and wants to help others that may be in the same situation that she was in. Thank you and God bless.

Re: RACHEL E COOK

this beautiful girl has transformed into a gorgeous woman. she has became a penpal, and moreso, a dear friend. she has shared the details of her case with me and she isn't a bad person. she's one of the most inspiring people I've met. I'm not saying her father deserved to die, but justice did need to be served in this instance. I encourage everyone to write her because maybe she can touch your heart like she has mine.

Re: RACHEL E COOK

Did she send you any pics? Ask her if you can post one. I doubt she would mind. It's such a shame to see someone like this serving 30 years, damn!
