2 thugs have been jailed for a vicious attack on a lone woman on a night out.
CCTV captured the horrific assault on the 31-year-old victim in Wigan town centre.
Two men out celebrating a 21st birthday wanted revenge because they felt they had been beaten in a fight with another group of revellers earlier in the night.
The pair couldn't find the men with whom they had fought - so decided to attack a woman who had been with the group instead.
They armed themselves with a crowbar and a chisel and kicked and punched her to the ground before stamping on and kicking at her head.
One of them stabbed her in the ankle with the chisel. The woman went to hospital and, miraculously, made a full recovery.

Police witnessed some of the attack on CCTV and arrested the thugs later.
Now they are behind bars after being sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court.
Glen Muddiman, 27, who pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon, was jailed for three-and-half years.
Dean Ackers, 21, of Rivers Street, Orrell, was jailed for eighteen months after he pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.
Ackers had been celebrating his birthday when the attack happened on Market Street on June 8.
The pair had been involved in a fight earlier in the night on Library Street but could not find the men they had fought with.
It was then they came across their victim and launched a sickening attack.
Det Con Rob Kitchen said: "This was a horrendous, disproportionate attack on a lone woman.
"It was cowardly for Muddiman and Ackers to take their frustrations out on her in this way.
"They armed themselves with weapons that would cause serious harm. Offenders like this belong in only one place, and that is behind bars.
"Wigan is like many town centres that have to put up with drink-fuelled violence on weekends.
