The manhunt for Christopher Jordan Dorner, a former Los Angeles Police Department officer, culminated in a fatal and controversial standoff on February 12, 2013, in the San Bernardino Mountains. Dorner, who began a series of violent acts against the LAPD on February 3, 2013, killed four people, including law enforcement officers and the daughter of a retired police captain, and wounded three others.

The final confrontation occurred when San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to a carjacking by Dorner. After a chase, Dorner took refuge in a cabin near Big Bear Lake. Efforts to apprehend him escalated when police used tear gas and a demolition vehicle to breach the cabin. As the standoff intensified, police deployed pyrotechnic tear gas canisters, leading to the cabin catching fire. Amidst the chaos, a single gunshot was heard from within the cabin.

The next day, February 13, it was reported that human remains, along with a wallet and California driver's license belonging to Dorner, were discovered in the cabin's ruins. On February 14, an autopsy using dental records confirmed the identity of the charred remains as Christopher Dorner. The autopsy revealed that Dorner died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Cops sure like to use their military style weapons don't they? One day they are going to attack the wrong people and get out flanked and then destroyed. I won't feel sorry for them. For every action is a reaction and since cops like to play soldier and shoot first ask questions later what they are going to get is a counter assault on their bullshit position and completely wiped out. Then maybe we can go back to talking someone out of a bad situation or at least giving him some time to sweat but today we just open fire.

Case in point the 100+ rounds fired in to the two old ladies truck and them by mistake looking for this cop. Shame on these pigs, this guy was one of their own and they have just no respect for life, guilty or not and should be treated with the same lack of respect.

FUCK THE POLICE. When they stop operating off double standards, killing unarmed ppl, start to treat us like citizens, instead of the kings peasant subjects, things may go back to the old days when granny baked them cookies. For now all they get are these salty nuts
