March 1 2008SAN FRANCISCO
Two San Francisco police officers were taken to the hospital early Saturday morning, after their patrol car slammed into a store near the city's Crocker-Amazon Playground.
Police officials say the incident took place near Geneva Avenue and Vienna Street at around 3:40 a.m.

San Francisco Police Lieutenant Bob Arminina said the officers were responding to a priority call. ”They lost control of their vehicle, which in turn spun and ended up striking a couple of light poles and parked vehicles before crashing into the store front of the liquor store.”

The car and liquor store both received major damage. The officers were treated for minor injuries at San Francisco General Hospital.
