Re: A Cunning Way of Carjacking
Another classic case of "nice guys finish last." I would have just tried to talk to him from the car, if he's not bleeding or in any immediate danger no need to get out and put yourself in risk. |

Re: A Cunning Way of Carjacking
When i did deliveries for a company in the city of chicago there were often stories of drivers stopping for people in "distress". We were told never to let them within 10ft of the vehicle and to never ever leave your vehicle. Your not a doctor and chances are wont be able to do anything. Roll down the window and ask if they need you to call and ambulance. If they dont answer start to drive off and if they continue to stay in the road call the authorities. Chances are the cops/ambulance would want to see him in any case. Never had an instance myself. Had a shady guy ask me for a cigerette on the corner( i was smoking out the window ) he was sitting down and told me he couldnt get up to get it ( his legs looked fine and it was in the early am) i. Lite another smoke and flicked it in his direction. Had images in my head of a crippled guy stretching and falling over to get my cigerette haha but rather safe than sorry. |
