Re: The Nicer Side of Dogs :)
I've been reading, and lots of you are over sensitive. When animals play they're rough... and sometimes there's nicks and cuts but that's the way it is. And the little smacks on the nose... really... it worries some of you? Lighten up, the kid is just playing. The dog can take much more than just a smack or two on the nose. BTW great dogs and great kid you got there! |

Re: The Nicer Side of Dogs :)
Patsy........thank you VERY much. Bull terriers can take hits from baseball bats and can get hit with stun guns and they can still charge. Mine are trained to be protective but submissive. When Aston plays with her he knows the limits of play and if he hurts her (normally stands on her toes) and she cries out he is gutted and gives her massive cuddles and says sorry. Now don't get me wrong if some1 hurt my boy or 1 of us then they would see a totally different side of them, but thats how i've trained them. Bull terriers are thick as shit in general and 1 of the best breeds you can have.....especially around kids |

Re: The Nicer Side of Dogs :)
It's not a pit bull, it's a Staffy. They also happen to be one of the most loyal breeds you can get. Will do almost anything to protect their 'pack' hence why in our neck of the woods, 'Chavs' have them by the dozen. Shame that the dogs get a bad rep, cus it's the owners that are dangerous in those cases.
