it's funny- i have NEVER believed all that. I remember being a young child trying to make sense of it all... i thought i was a genius, with the theory that dinosaurs missed Noah's Ark, lol
but later on, even when i considered myself a christian, i always took the bible as a metaphor.

Actually the point is a thing called "free speech". Anyone can believe what they want, and noone has to accept anything they don't want to. Why do you even care if someone accepts what you believe or don't believe? Tell them to fuck off, or just don't worry about it.


Where? Where do Christians "enforce their bullshit" whatver that means? I am a Christian, non-fundie type, and I could give two shits what anyone else believes, doesn't believe, wants to believe, whatever. I have Jewish friends, Muslim friends, friends that believe we were fish, and we don't sit around trying to convert each other.

I don't protest abortion--if someone wants to suck their kid into a sink? Hey go for it, one less unwanted, unplanned kid for taxpayers to feed. I think our new Socialist prez should start letting taxes pay for abortion (i.e.) Medicaid. I'd much rather help fund a $500.00 abortion (or a $1500.00 sterilization) than Medicaid for the kid and it's loser mom, WIC, food stamps, etc, etc for years. Fuck, we'd save the US billions of dollars.

All religions have wack-o's, and all religions have members who mind their own damn business. Just my two cents.

I'm just saying from experience....my ex gf was a christian and 'forced' me to go to church, and when I was there a majority of people said my views were plain and simply wrong.

Was I proselatyzing, or trying to 'convert' you, no. Of course not. It was My Opinion and the way I think about it all. That's all it was. Live and Let Live, that's my philosophy. WHERE? Um try all the Christianity fueled legislation... trying to teach creationism in schools, keeping gays from marrying b/c they want to keep marriage "holy". fuck you, anyway. isn't it great that you've never been in a bad position. I'm a newly-single mother on WIC and medicaid, and I'm not a "loser"... i've got a college education but the economy is such shit now, that I'm barely making it. So good for you that you've never had to deal with all that.
