I agree with you 100,000,000% I am a chicken shit when it comes to being more that about ten feet off the ground, but I like fire even less.

About 9.7 seconds til impact. I wonder if time slowed down for them ? I know in some stressfull situations, time does seem to slow down for the observer, I just wonder if that was the case for them. And if it was, did it prolong the terror they were feeling ?

I lived accross the street from the brown building you can see in the center of the pic, (21 West Street (west side hwy), 10012) when the attacks happened. It was about 10 buildings down from where the twin towers stood, right at battery park. These pics bring up some crazy emotions. I used to ride my go ped past the towers on my way to work daily, I was in my apt when it happened, it shook my building when each tower fell.
