Re: DR's Official MMA Thread

Hmmm, in my view he clearly lost to Tim Witherspoon, the first Spinx decision was fair but Larry won their second fight.

Big Oscar de la Hoya fan here. Dude had a messed up side to him (hookers and blow) but that shouldn't take away from his remarkable accomplishments inside the ring. Three Guinness world records - highest career pay-per-view sales by a boxer ($696 million). Highest selling pay-per -view boxing match (2.4 million purchases)and most wins consecutively middleweight title defenses (20).

Robbie Lawler fights Josh Koscheick at UFC 157. Same card Rousey is headlining, Dan Henderson/Machida is the co-main event. Good card.

He hasn't even faced a bad wrestler yet. I'm intrigued by him though because he has just toyed with everyone he has fought, striking levels aren't even fucking close, I almost feel bad for his opponents. I'm hoping he does fight in Bellator, that a really good next step for him, it's time for him to step up in competition.

That's an interesting matchup, the first Lawler fight I watched was when he destroyed Tiki Ghosn, undefeated, reminded me of a young Mike Tyson, devastating punches.

"I told you guys, last season of The Ultimate Fighter was the worst season in the history of TUF. This next season is so awesome and so badass. We have a guy on this season of The Ultimate Fighter, every fight he's in, someone goes to the hospital.

The whole house is terrified of this guy," White said. "F-- terrified. Everybody. I picked this fight, and this guy is lined up with the guy I'm telling you about, and the guy has a nervous breakdown in the house over the weekend. Has a f-- nervous breakdown. Freaks out and has a nervous breakdown. This guy scared the living s--- out of everyone. It's awesome.
