Re: Woman Falls Down 15-Foot Shaft While Showering
I have never seen anything like that and hopefully, I won't run into any, or should I say, fall, into one? It doesn't look like good planning was involved This is actually the apartment above hers and it has no shower that I can see. I'm thinking, she got in the tub, looked in the mirror and jumped out the window. I may have done the same thing ;) |

They have those shafts in old apartment buildings here... but the openings are usually above head and small. Think the landlord could have glass blocked them with a vent for safety. I would have thought a child would have climbed or fallen out before an adult. |

Re: Woman Falls Down 15-Foot Shaft While Showering
Thank you, Megamel. I'm sorry for your loss as well. The brother who just passed had a rough last few years. It's such a helpless feeling to not be able to help. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. He had three beautiful kids and thee beautiful grandchildren! Needless to say, the kids are devastated! I miss him terribly, too <3 Don't how my mom survived. My dad died in 2008, the youngest brother in a fire in 2009, the oldest in 2010, and the middle one in 2012. They made them tougher when my mom was born :) |
