Teen Methodically Divided Up Family for Slaughter

A 19-year-old Michigan man charged with trying to bludgeon his entire family to death in a bid to steal money for drugs is accused of methodically divvying up his victims with a friend.

Tucker Cipriano and Mitchell (Roderick) Young, 20, plotted who would kill whom from Cipriano’s family, a witness said in court on Wednesday.

“Tucker was going to go after his two brothers,” Ian Zinderman, 20, told the courtroom in Farmington Hills, Mich., according to the Detroit Free Press.

“Roderick was going to go after the mom and dad, and Roderick was [also] supposed to go for the sister.”

Zinderman, a friend of the accused killers, said he knew about the plan but did not participate.

Cipriano and Young were charged with first-degree murder last month after they allegedly beat Cipriano’s 52-year-old father, Robert, to death with baseball bats. They are also charged with attempted murder for the brutal beatings of Cipriano’s mother, Rose, and 17-year-old brother, Salvatore. Both remain hospitalized with head injuries, more than a month after the April 16 attack, according to the newspaper.

Cipriano’s 8-year-old sister Isabella and 17-year-old brother Tanner, Salvatore’s twin, escaped unharmed.

Zinderman was offered immunity from prosecution in exchange for his testimony against his friends.

On the night of the attack, Zinderman admits, he helped Cipriano rob the family twice — to find money to purchase “Spice,” or synthetic marijuana.

But he says he wasn’t part of the murderous attack hours later.

The motive behind the plan was money, Zinderman said. Cipriano and Young wanted to get cash and valuables to sell to fund their drug habits — and Zinderman said he was supposed to get one-third of the cut.

Cipriano, who wasn’t living with his family at the time, reportedly told his friends he guessed they would make $3,000 in the raid.

When a prosecutor asked why Young had been assigned to kill Isabella instead of Cipriano, Zinderman said “Tucker loved his sister.”

After the attack, Zinderman testified that he gave Cipriano a clean shirt when he showed up covered in blood at the home where the men were staying in Keego Harbor, north of Detroit.

Officer Michael Meister, the first responder to arrive at the home after Tanner called 911, also testified on Wednesday, according to the CBS affiliate in Detroit.

Meister recounted the horrific, bloody scene he found at the Cipriano residence.

“I saw blood ... a person’s head,” he said. “I basically grabbed Isabella and got out of that residence.

“On the wood floor, you could see one large puddle of blood and drag marks of blood going down the stairs,” he added.

Other officers entered the house and found Young. Cipriano was arrested hours later at the house in Keego Harbor.

The testimony was delivered during the first day of testimony in a preliminary hearing. The hearing continues on June 8.

If convicted at trial, Cipriano and Young face life in prison.

Well I know the motive but I mean what kind of buzz must that shit give you to make you actually want to kill your entire family just to get a few grand to get some more. There are crack heads that dont even kill their entire family for a few bucks (some that do though lol).

spice is nothing but toxic chemicals. it is dangerous and needs to be outlawed immediately. this isn't the first time someone has become violent because of spice, or other synthetic thc products.
