So does anybody care? I know we are allies with these guys but in my opinion they ain't very good allies. Story:

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Saudi state TV says King Abdullah, the powerful U.S. ally who joined Washington's fight against al-Qaida and sought to modernize the ultra-conservative Muslim kingdom has died. He was 90.

The TV station said Abdullah died Friday.

His expected successor is his 79-year-old half-brother, Prince Salman, who recently has taken on the ailing Abdullah's responsibilities.

The announcement came in statement read by a presenter on Saudi state TV, which aired video of worshippers at the Kaaba in Mecca.

Interesting to see who takes over, and the direction that person takes.

The government of Yemen fell yesterday, ISIS is still going strong...... This could be interesting.

A little more from Aljazeera

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has died, Saudi state television has said.
Saudi television cut to Koranic verses early on Friday, which often signifies death of a senior royal, Reuters news agency reported.
King Abdullah, who was 90, had been in hospital for several weeks and was suffering from pneumonia.
Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra said: "This is someone who is definitely going to be remmebered as a reformist within the royal family.
"He succeeded his brother at a very delicate time and started reforms in the country."
Saudi TV also announced Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is now officially the new Saudi king and Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz is the new crown prince.

You will get the answer to your question.
Why does America ally with Saudi Arabia?
Soon you will know why, when the relationship breaks down and they aren't allies

I'm kind of thinking the same way.

There's speculation that the Saudis might send troops into Yemen to stabilize it, then there's the issue of the Saudis allegedly supporting ISIS...... Who are dire enemies of Iran.

Syria is teetering on the edge, Iraq is completely spineless.

The stage is definitely set for something big.
