how are you today, sir? :-)
I wonder how hard he was raging? I would hope he was in full on hulk mode for that response. Is there a paypal set up to send him a beer?

Great man! Just takin care of the last few errands before my weekend starts. Going to see something/someone called "beats antique" tonight. We'll see how that goes. Lol.

That's what I was thinking. If he couldn't get in that room initially, before the Fire/Police got there, what exactly made him think he could do it later. Now obviously the answer is probably the grief of seeing the firemen give up but I'm sure it was much too late by then anyways.

No one should have that power to stop a parent from rescuing their child. Who the fuck are they to stop someone even if they are at risk of dying?!

No one should have that right.

I'm with Flaka, I would have rescued my child or burned too. Sounds like, since the child was breathing at first, that had they not tazed the man, he may have been able to save him.

Re: Missouri Dad Tasered While Trying to Save Son from Burning Home

Great comments from everyone. I would not want to live if my son died, so I would not be thankful if stopped while trying to save him. That being said, I believe the firefighters reason for being is to save lives and they didn't want to lose the dad. They handled the dad too harshly, IMO, but I woud listen to Kanda since he is a firefighter and has the training. Although, it was police officers, not FF that tased the dad.

Barefoot and dressed in his pajamas, Ryan Miller was ready to dive into a blazing building to save his 3-year-old stepson.

But Missouri police officers tasered the distraught dad before he rushed into flames that even firefighters, dressed head to toe in gear, had to back away from.

By the time fire officials reached Miller’s son, Riley, it was too late.

The boy was dead.
That is so sad

Even if it was not his stepson, if a citizen wanted to help, I would think they'd welcome the attempt at help.
