Re: Kraft Sends Woman Apology & $1 for Worm in Macaroni
I found 3 pieces of glass fragments in Kraft cheese dip (can't remember the name, came in a glass jar). I checked the rim of the jar but it wasn't compromised. Called the company. They sent me some coupons for more of the cheese dip!! |

If they put it in writing and it really hurts their reputation, slim chance. Say, if she was a she, first of all, and she was a nun...maybe at best ;) If that is one's opinion, they believe it, most likely, nothing can be done! |

From watching those, "Caught on Video", shows, I don't want to know what they do in the kitchen. I like the places where you can watch the prep and cooking. And I just love fast food places where the people have those thin gloves you get with hair dye to use once on, and they're accepting cash with the gloves on! Fucking idiots! |

Re: Kraft Sends Woman Apology & $1 for Worm in Macaroni
Food shopping can be expensive. But if we start writing to all the food companies, saying that we've found worms in their products, we can be reimbursed. Therefore ultimately getting food products for free! Don't thank me for the tip.

Ironically, the foundation of negligence by the courts is attributable to a very similar-fact case: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donohue_v_Stevenson |

Re: Kraft Sends Woman Apology & $1 for Worm in Macaroni
I remember purchasing a can of Chicken of the Sea tuna and finding not one but several intact vertebrae of a fish intact. I sent a letter to the company noting that I use my hands to break it down and found it. I said that had I not and simply mixed it up I could have easily choked on it. I was not asking for anything other then to make them aware that I found it and there might be other cans affected. I took photos, etc. They sent me a nice letter and reimbursed me for the tuna. I was fine as I wasn't hurt and wanted nothing in return other then to prevent someone else from possibly being hurt. |
