Re: WELL WELL WELL: Pope Deplores Abuse Raid on Belgium Church HQ

"violated the tombs of two Cardinals???"

now that might have been uncalled-for.....I can't IMAGINE what kind of document or evidence could have or should have been entombed with any Cardinal.....what would be its evidentiary value???....and it seems that it would take a special exhumation order to violate a tomb!

Oh ... I see. Hmmmm. Honestly, it smells of a rat. I don't think those cops are going to raid a church on false leads, least of all the Catholic Church.

Depends on Dutch law. They do it here in the states. An exhumation is no more than a court order to raid a grave.

What little I know about this case, they cops have some fairly strong evidence to substantiate raiding that tomb. Sounds sacrilegious to me, but when it comes to criminal investigations, I guess nothing is sacred (except, of course, if you commit a crime in the U. S., and you're a foreigner associated with an embassy. Then you can declare diplomatic immunity).

From what I have read, the remark about the possible violation of the tombs was all Drama.....the Vatican is "disgruntled" and that is propaganda.

This whole thing is screwed. There are so many complaints about this pedophilia, it's scary. I was an altar boy, and stuff like this never happened to me or to anyone I knew at the time. This shit rocks the hell out of me.

Having never seen it either....and being in the Catholic church and having brothers, male cousins, and ....my own kids.....It rocks the hell out of me also....Nobody has had it happen (or nobody will talk about it)...I believe that in our case, it did not happen.....Maybe nobody in our extended family was vulnerable at the time???....maybe none of ours fit the "profile"???

I have so many questions and so many apprehensions.

Re: WELL WELL WELL: Pope Deplores Abuse Raid on Belgium Church HQ

Finally cops somewhere in the world had the balls to take on the church. About fucking time considering they haven't been able to clean house properly in thousands of years.

Now they decide to place victim... boo fucking hoo.
