Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f

'Fake passport holders on missing Malaysia Airlines flight 'were Iranian immigrants heading for Europe'

One of the men was reportedly heading for Germany while the other wanted to settle in Denmark.

The two passengers travelling on stolen passports on missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 are reportedly Iranian nationals.

An Iranian friend of one of the men told BBC Persia he hosted the pair in Kuala Lumpur after they arrived from Tehran in the days preceding their flight to Beijing.

The source, who claimed he knew one of the men from his school days in Iran, said the duo had bought the fake passports because they wanted to migrate to Europe.

They were travelling on passports belonging to Christian Kozel, an 30-year-old Austrian, and Luigi Maraldi, a 37-year-old Italian.

They had bought the passports in Kuala Lumpur as well as tickets to Amsterdam, via Beijing.

The correspondent told BBC Persia that one of the Iranians was heading for Frankfurt, Germany, where his mother lives, while the other wanted to travel to Denmark.

BBC Persia's UN correspondent Bahman Kalbasi told The Telegraph that the two Iranians were "looking for a place to settle".

The revelation comes after it emerged a mystery Iranian called 'Mr Ali' bought tickets for the pair.

The US FBI are now trying to track him down.

No surprise, that would be the service providers 'answer phone' service....'The person you are trying to call is not available at this time....etc"....They have no official details of the 'missing'.

According to China.org.cn, 19 families of those missing have signed a joint statement confirming that their calls connected to their loved ones but that they rang out.
The relatives have asked for a full investigation and some complained that Malaysian Airlines is not telling the whole truth.

Oh I see, it may be due to roaming, the phone company searching for the phones location..Or it could side calling effects from the last browsing they used the phone for.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f

Fitted with an ASD-B flight transponder which, unlike the GPS in a car, broadcasts its location by sending information back to air traffic controllers every second, the Boeing 777 would appear to have the necessary technology to prevent it disappearing completely without a trace.

The transponder on the plane, which is also fitted with an indestructible black box recorder and a beacon to continue transmitting its location should the aircraft land in water, should provide air traffic controllers on the ground with the aircraft's speed, altitude and direction, according to Tom Clarke, of Channel 4 News.
But the signal from the transponder was lost at 1.20am, without a change in altitude or course, which has suggested to some a sudden event caused the plane to crash.
Crews however are also able to speak to their airline through 'discrete radio channels', according to aviation expert John Goglia, writing on the Forbes website.

Maybe they were "taken" UFO's have been spotted by pilots all the time. Far fetched. But for gods sake, where is the plane?!

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f

I'm wondering if it was shot down, it looks like it did turn back and although missed by civilian radar the military did track it...If it didn't respond to calls they may have thought it was hostile?

Or its crashed in the Jungle.
