Are people really this ignorant of the law or is that they just don't give a fuck? Time to make the penalty of doing this crime a lot more severe, like maybe 20 years in jail on top of 5 million dollar fine. 10,000 dollar fine, give me a break.

Belize is highly mixed with decedents of ***** slaves and is a creole society for the most part. There are some Mayans left but for the most part it's people who have no connection to the land there. Thus the lack of common sense.
