I'm a Christian and I NEVER say or think things like that. It's so ignorant and stupid. I appreciate their (and anyone's) tough decision in aborting the child but FFS don't claim she's God's glory, poor little mite

It's their child and their choice to make. The only problem I see is the State paying their medical expenses, thus prolonging the horror. I doubt it would go this far with only the private insurance and charities' support.

I can only imagine what a heartbreaking decision it must be to abort your baby.

The parents may have hoped the doctors were wrong or decided to have and love the baby no matter what.

It has to be Hell to make that choice. Even if the mother miscarried, I'm sure it would have been difficult to live with.

A mother must wonder what her child would have been like, assuming she wanted the baby.

Re: The Baby Who Will Never Walk, Speak or Read

I would understand if there was hope for a better future. But to prolong death for an infant when there is no hope for quality of life is simply torture. My humble opinion.
