ARIZONA SHOOTER, JARED LEE LOUGHNER: chronology

Arizona shooting suspect Jared Loughner photographed himself posing with a 9mm handgun while wearing a red G-string, a law enforcement source said Saturday.

It's not clear when the photo was taken, but it was among those on a roll of 35 mm film that Loughner dropped off at a Walgreens store in the hours before the shooting rampage that took six lives and left 13 others wounded, including U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

The photo, which has not been made public, shows Loughner posing with the handgun covering his groin, according to the source.

A Walgreen's employee who saw the photos contacted police. The FBI is analyzing the photos, according to police.

Police say Loughner used a 9mm Glock handgun with an extended magazine in the attack on a constituents meeting hosted by Giffords outside a Tucson, Arizona, Safeway store on January 8.

a new video reportedly narrated by Loughner also has emerged.

The video, released by Pima Community College to the Los Angeles Times and KOLD-TV following a public records request, was cited in campus police records as among the reasons administrators suspended Loughner in September following a series of outbursts and incidents that disrupted classes and left teachers and students shaken.

The undated video does not show Loughner or explicitly identify him, but includes many of the same themes attributed to him in other online venues, including statements about currency, mind control and grammar. The narrator also identifies himself as "Jared of Pima College."

The narrator opens the nighttime walking video tour of the campus by saying "All right, so here is what we are doing. We are examining the torture of students."

During the video, another man emerges from a building and the narrator calls out "How's it going?"

He then says, "Thanks for the B. I'm pissed off man. What's that?"

He then laughs and adds, "I lost my freedom of speech to that guy, and this is, this is what happens and I'm in a terrible place."

He later refers to a sociology teacher who he said gave him a B grade.

He also complains about illiterate students and campus police, calling the college "one of the biggest scams in America."

He calls the college his "genocide school" and complains he will be homeless because of it.

"If the student is unable to locate the external universe, the student is unable to locate the internal universe," the narrator says. "Where is all my subjects? I could say something sound right now but I don't feel like it."

He ends the video saying, "This is genocide in America. Thank you. This is Jared of Pima college."

Arizona Shooter Pleads NOT GUILTY In Open Court - Loughner Laughs In Court

Loughner at times scrunched his face, at other times laughed openly as if hearing a private joke while his defense attorney, Judy Clarke, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Wallace Kleindienst discussed the case at the brief arraignment hearing."

Loughner Researched Lethal Injection Pre-Attack

Washington Post: Sources Say Jared Lee Loughner Surfed Internet About Lethal Injection and Solitary Confinement

In the weeks and days before the shooting rampage in Tucson, suspect Jared Lee Loughner surfed the Internet on his computer in what investigators believe was an effort to prepare for his alleged assassination attempt, law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation said.

Loughner pulled up several Web sites about lethal injections and solitary confinement in prison, said the sources, who asked to be anonymous because the investigation is ongoing. He also viewed Internet sites about political assassins, according to an analysis of Loughner's computer that was completed by investigators last week, the sources said.

Police seized Loughner's computer when they forcibly entered his family home in Tucson on Jan. 8, shortly after the shooting outside a Safeway that killed six people and injured 13 others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.).

Complete Coverage: Tragedy in Tucson

On the night before the shooting, Loughner rented a room at a Motel 6 near the railroad tracks on the western edge of Tucson. Using the room as a staging ground for a series of pre-dawn errands, Loughner drove back and forth several times between the motel and his home, where he used his computer for the last time, sources said. At one point early in the morning, he posted a bulletin on his Myspace page titled "Goodbye friends," according to investigators.

Prosecutors hope to use the information they have found on Loughner's computer, along with notes seized in his home, to indicate that Loughner, 22, was not insane and knew right from wrong. They have turned over to the defense the information they obtained from the computer, as well as discs containing about 250 interviews conducted by investigators.

"The impression investigators have is that he was trying to educate himself on assassinations and also research the consequences," said one source close to the investigation. The source said Loughner pulled up sites that explained the process and effects of lethal injections.

Special Agent Jason Pack, a spokesman for the FBI, would not comment on the information in Loughner's computer, which is in the possession of the FBI. Jason Ogan, spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff's Office, would also not comment and said the sheriff would make no further comments on the investigation.

Loughner was arraigned in a federal courthouse in Phoenix on Monday. Judy Clarke, Loughner's defense attorney from California, asked the court to enter a not-guilty plea on his behalf on three counts of attempting to kill federal employees, including Giffords, who is recovering from a gunshot wound to the head and was moved Wednesday from Memorial Hermann hospital in Houston to the Institute for Rehabilitation and Research at Memorial Hermann.

Loughner was also indicted on charges of attempting to assassinate two of Giffords's aides, Ron Barber and Pam Simon, who were injured in the attack. Two other federal employees, U.S. District Judge John M. Roll and another Giffords aide, Gabe Zimmerman, were killed. Assistant U.S. Attorney Wallace H. Kleindienst indicated in court that more charges are expected.

Prosecutors told U.S. District Judge Larry Burns of California, who is presiding over the case, that they will try to have all of the federal charges filed within 45 days, including the two murder charges. Loughner also is likely to face a raft of state charges in the shootings of the other non-federal employees who were killed and injured.

If convicted, Loughner could face the death penalty. The next hearing in the case is set for March 9 in Tucson.

While he is definitely disturbed I can see the prosecution seeing this as him realizing what he was doing and that it was premeditated and first degree murder.

NOTE: soemone here was asking about the video.

It is being 'witheld" and when it is finally "released", due to the sensitivity of the material, it will be "edited".

This from Law enforcement.
