I'm assuming they make you sign a waiver if you wanna participate.
If so, their lawsuit is moot.

Also:
Indians are sue happy, at least in Canuckistan.

Word.

Accidents happen, it's terrible... sad for the family... ect...

YOU ARE NOT ENTITLE TO MONEY BECAUSE YOUR FUCKING KID/HUSBAND/DAD DIED DURING AN "EXTREME" RACE HE VOLUNTARILY SIGNED UP FOR!!! Mourn and move on.

You can't sue the Weather Channel for getting struck by lightning.

Re: 28-Year-Old Dies During Tough Mudder Event

Thought they would make you sign a liability waiver when entering an event like that

Re: 28-Year-Old Dies During Tough Mudder Event

People need to accept that tragic accidents happen and this lawsuit-for-everything fashion of late needs to be curtailed.

Let's hope they win the lawsuit. All that time wasted, he could have easily been saved.

In video of the incident, Sengupta’s friends can be heard pleading with a lifeguard to go into the water to look for him. Woods reveals that Sengupta’s friends alerted the lifeguards on shore within 30 seconds of him going in the water. It was two minutes before lifeguards ordered a rescue diver in, and another two minutes before the diver actually got into the water. “By that time, there was about one minute left before major brain damage was going to set in from the drowning,” Woods said.
I think they do have a right to sue.

Re: 28-Year-Old Dies During Tough Mudder Event

I agree with the attorney - just because you sign a "death waiver" doesnt mean they arent responsible. gross negligence surely - the drowning may have been prevented.

they did say he was brain dead though and had a contusion....
