The Belgian iguana Mozart has had little pleasure of his mating ritual.
The iguana in aquarium park Aquatopia in Antwerp got some dirt in its penis.
That dirt caused an infection and now the iguana's penis can't withdraw from it's erect state.
Employees put Mozart into quarantine far away from the three covetous female iguanas Truus , Pepina and Bianca.
The employees have been taken good care of Mozart by giving him wet towels , hoping the swelling goes down. At the same time they clean the penis regularly and using lubricating ointment.
If the erection apprehends too long , amputation is the only solution.
The amputation will not affect Mozarts mating habits because iguanas have two penisses called hemipenes.
